Roblox Innovation Awards 2024: Nominees Revealed and Voting Open
It’s time to cast your votes for the top experiences and creators of 2024 in the Roblox Innovation Awards!
Every year, Roblox hosts the Innovation Awards, a live, in-person ceremony honoring the best experiences and creators on the platform for the year. This year, Roblox will be hosting the 2024 Innovation Awards live at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, CA on September 7th at 6:00PM Pacific Time. The ceremony is invite-only to all attendees of the 2024 Roblox Developer’s Conference, but will be streamed live for everyone to watch on YouTube.
In May, Roblox released a form to write-in nominees for 17 different categories including Best New Experience, Best UGC Creator, Best Video Star, and more. Now, it is your time to cast your votes for select categories in this year’s show!
The 2024 Roblox Innovation Awards Voting Hub is now open can can be joined directly on Roblox. Here, you can vote on the top 4 nominees in each selected category and complete quests to earn avatar items along the way.
In the hub, you’ll be able to vote for your favorite experiences, developers, and creators. Right now, you can vote for the following categores:
- People’s Choice
- Best New Experience
- Best UGC Creator
- Best Video Star
- best Branded Experience
This year, Roblox is introducing a new group of quickfire categories celebrating the best of different experience genres. Every day for 24 hours, a new quickfire category will be available for voting. After the 24 hours are up, that category is complete — so check back often to make sure you don’t miss out! The schedule for Daily Quickfire categories will be the following, starting at 10AM PST each day:
- Tuesday, 7/2: Best Obby
- Wednesday, 7/3: Best Shooter
- Thursday, 7/4: Best Horror
- Friday, 7/5: Best Fashion
- Saturday, 7/6: Best RPG
- Sunday, 7/7: Best Strategy
- Monday, 7/8: Best Racing
- Tuesday, 7/9: Best Roleplay/Life Sim
- Wednesday, 7/10: Best Educational
- Thursday, 7/11: Best Social/Hangout
- Friday, 7/12: Best Tycoon
- Saturday, 7/13: Best Fighting
The voting period closes Friday, August 16th at 12PM PT, so be sure to make your voice heard before it’s too late! The winners for these categories will be revealed at RDC on September 7, 2024 starting at 6PM PT live from RDC 2024!
