Roblox increased the price of Robux—Here’s how you’re actually paying less than before
Roblox recently adjusted the pricing and amount of Robux you receive when purchasing Robux.
Today, Roblox pushed an update that changes the pricing and packages when purchasing Robux. At first glance, it may seem as if the prices have increased—which they have—but realistically, you are actually getting more Robux than you would have previously. Because of this change, you’re actually getting more Robux per $1 you spend on the platform, which means that at scale there will be significantly more Robux flowing through the economy. Here is a breakdown of exactly what has changed, thanks to a thread by @EvanZir on X:

- OLD: 400 Robux at $4.99 (80.16 Robux per $1)
- NEW: 550 Robux at $6.49 (84.75 Robux per $1)
TIER 2
- OLD: 800 Robux at $9.99 (80.08 Robux per $1)
- NEW: 900 Robux at $12.49 (92.07 Robux per $1)
TIER 3
- OLD: 1,700 Robux at $19.99 (85.04 Robux per $1)
- NEW: 1,850 Robux at $20.49 (95.39 Robux per $1)
TIER 4
- OLD: 4,500 Robux at $49.99 (90.01 Robux per $1)
- NEW: 4,750 Robux at $51.99 (96.17 Robux per $1)
